SMA Consulting is one of the nation’s oldest and largest management consulting companies exclusively serving the homebuilding industry. Through their Inner Circle Program, their peer to peer Coaching Groups and direct consulting services they have over 70 recurring clients in over 40 states and 4 Canadian providences. Their target market is privately held builders doing 20-250 homes per year; although many have grown larger.
The most unique aspect of SMA’s service offerings is that each of the SMA Consulting Associates was a successful homebuilder or worked for a successful homebuilder before joining the staff at SMA. How start working with us:
To get a glimpse of what we offer at SMA we suggest you look into our Inner Circle program first. Afterwards, the below steps will get you started working with us directly, on a personal level.
Our direct consulting services are offered, to a number of builders, on typically semi-annual to annual contracts.
We start these engagements off with a two-day Orientation Program in Orlando. The client company brings their management team (up to 9 people fit comfortably into our training room). This session costs only $1,990 and give us both the opportunity to make sure we are the right consultant to help you achieve your goals. We typically schedule one to two sessions per month. This is one on one training and business planning. One client and the SMA team. Orientation Program info here
At the conclusion of this orientation program, the client has no obligation to enter into one of our direct consulting programs.
After completing an orientation session, you will be able to enter one of our direct consulting programs (link below). Most of our consulting is done via the telephone using Go to Meeting software, via email and via a shared information database called Madera CM. We have three levels of programs available for you to view on our Direct Consulting page.
